Most prescription drugs often have side effects. This is the same for Zolpidem Tartrate. When taking Zolpidem there are certain mild side effects you are likely to experience. This includes drowsiness, lightheadedness, drugged feeling, upset stomach, diarrhea, general physical weakness and allergy. As earlier stated these are just a few of the mild side effects which often end up subsiding after sometime. They should therefore not give you much cause to worry.
Individuals who take Zolpidem may also develop allergic reactions to this drug. This should be treated with caution since it is classified as a severe side effect. Allergic reactions can be seen when a patient is experiencing shortness of breath, stiffening up of the chest, skin rash, peculiar croakiness, and swelling up of various parts of the body especially the legs, hands, eyes, throat, lips, mouth, tongue and the face.
